USDA Farm Bill Conservation Programs

 

Foster Creek Conservation District assists local farmers and ranchers with the United States Department of Agriculture's Farm Bill conservation programs under the Freedom to Farm Act of 2002.  The programs used in our area of Douglas County are typically the:

Conservation Reserve Program (CRP)

Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP)

The Conservation Security Program (CSP)

Grassland Reserve Program (GRP)

Wildlife Incentive Program (WHIP)

With the exception of the Conservation Reserve Program being administered by the Farm Service Agency (FSA), Farm Bill programs are coordinated by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).  Please contact us if you have questions on any of these programs.
