Foster
Creek Conservation District has a limited program of cost sharing
on herbicide applications to control rush skeletonweed, leafy
spurge, and houndstongue. These weeds have not established
themselves in Douglas County to a great extent. In order to
stop their spread Foster Creek will be looking for landowners with
these weed species and are actively controlling them. Eligible cost include materials
and credit for landowner labor. Our funding is limited so
please contact the District for details. Please note, any
landowner costs incurred prior to approval and authorization of
cost share are ineligible.
