Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP)

Mission:

The HCP will promote the quality of life in Douglas County by enhancing and protecting wildlife species habitat while at the same time providing regulatory certainty and protection from incidental takings for local farmers, ranchers, and orchardists.

Goal:

To bring the Douglas County agricultural community into compliance with the Endangered Species Act, ultimately providing long-term protection for both farmers and wildlife.
