Stakeholder Steering Committee: This committee is comprised of anyone who believes themselves to be a stakeholder in Douglas County's HCP development process and wants to stay informed. Whether agency representative, private citizen, environmentalist, or farmer, all are welcome. Due to the nature of this committee, it is constantly evolving and acts as a listening body. Committee members receive periodic updates and mailings and have the opportunity to attend biannual meetings to ask questions and learn more about the HCP's progress.
