MSHCP Current Conditions

There
are 23 distinct land cover types within the Plan area. These land
cover types were identified as a result of remote sensing
and image analysis using 2005 Landsat 7 multi-spectral scenes. The
MSHCP will update this analysis frequently and compare the changes
over time in the Plan area. Land cover types do not specifically describe habitat types, but
dominant plant communities that are directly observable:
